2010 Canadian Tour

Peterjan Wouda

In 1994 I worked in the Rwandan refugee camps in Zaire. This experience motivated me to apply for a job with MSF, after a career in documentary filmmaking in Holland. Since 2002 I did six missions as Logistician and Project Coordinator in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Chad, Central African Republic and Haiti. In the field I met my wife - an MSF nurse from Montréal. Originally from Holland, I am now working in MSF’s Montreal office as Training Coordinator providing training to our international and local staff in the field.
