I am a family physician and researcher originally from Halifax. I currently practice, teach, and lead research in immigrant and refugee health at the University of Ottawa. I have worked as a field doctor with MSF in post-war Republic of Georgia, and more recently as an HIV consultant in Congo (Brazzaville). During medical school, when not studying for exams, I worked as a professional juggler.
